GAREC 2009 and Btreaking Fast Function.
Mr.Johnny Tan, V85DB was representing BDARA at the Fifth Global Amateur Radio Emergency Communications (GAREC) conference held on 24-25 August 2009 at TFT, Ariake, Tokyo, Japan. covering an area of 2,727 hectares and is the smallest and popular national park in Sarawak.
BDARA participated at the conference by a power point presentation on Emergency
Communications activities by BDARA during the nation’s flood and soil erosion disaster early 2009.
Members and families attended a bertahlil, doa arwah and breaking fast function in conjunction with Ramadhan 1430 held on Thursday 10th. September 2009 at LR Asma Hotel, Jerudong.
In attendance were President - Pg.Salleh Ab.Rahaman, V85DX, Adviser - Hj.Awg.Abu Bakar, V85BA and members of BDARA and their families.
