INTRODUCTION.
This prestigious Award is in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee National Day of Brunei Darussalam anniversary on 23rd. February 2009. Celebrating 25 years as an independent and sovereign nation. To mark this auspicious and historic occasion Brunei Darussalam Amateur Radio Association, the organizer of this special event station launched this temporary Award and amateur radio stations worldwide are most welcome to join this joyful celebration.

Beginning 1200UTC on Monday, 23rdth. February 2009.

All metre bands – 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10.
All modes of CW, SSB and / or RTTY may be used.
There are no single mode sections.
No WARC bands.

Single operator only.

As stipulated in the regulations governing the license of the station.

REPORTING.
RST/RS reports plus serial numbers starting with 001 and increased by one for each successive contact.

SCORING.
All valid QSOs count 1 point per QSO.
Only one contact is allowed on each band with the same station.

RULES AND REGULATIONS.
Contacts on cross modes or cross bands will not count.
Operators are not allowed to transmit more than one signal at any one time.
Communication using Satellite, E-QSO and Echo Link are prohibited.
Entries that contain errors or unmarked duplicates are liable to reduction of points.
All entries must be submitted in the form of logs showing claimed scores band by band plus the total score claimed must be signed by the operator.
Late entries will not be entertained.
Any entrant who uses methods contrary to the spirit of the contest may be subject to disqualification.
The decision of the contest organizer BDARA shall be final.

ENTRIES AND LOGS.
For Brunei Darussalam Amateur Radio operators, they must make contacts with not less than fifteen (15) local stations.
For DX stations overseas, they must include three (3) Brunei Darussalam stations including special event station.
Entries may be in the form of hand-written log or by computer log.
Information required for each claimed contact is:

SWL SECTION.
Single SWL operator open for local entries only.
They must write down with not less than thirty (30) stations.
Only stations taking part in the Contest may be logged for scoring purposes.
Logs should show in columns:

If both sides of a contest contact are heard, they may both be claimed. These call signs could be logged in the Station Heard column.
A station may only appear once per band per mode as station heard.
In the Station Worked column, the same station may not be logged more than 10 times per band.

B$10.00 for BDARA valid member stations.

US$8.00 or 10 IRC including postage for DX station overseas.

AWARD.
A certificate will be awarded to entries that comply with the rules and regulations of the contest.
Entries will be informed if they are qualified to receive Silver Jubilee Award.
They must send the stipulated fee together with a QSL card.
