A group of radio enthusiasts organised an expedition to Pulau Muara Besar, IOTA (Island On The Air) DX expedition on April 15 to 21 2004.
Three overseas amateur radio operators were busy DXing, They were V8ATC (Ian Bufham from UK), V8FDC (Derek Cox from UK) and V8FMB (Maurizio Bertolino from Italy).
